Tim and Megan live in Alberta and it’s been quite a struggle to organize our engagement session with them. Lucky for us, Tim had business to do in Kelowna and Megan came along for the ride.
We couldn’t be happier to see you both in Kelowna on a wet, rainy, very chilly day (just the way you like it)! And we are very excited to make another trip to Alberta for your wedding in June. Flowers should be starting to bloom around then…right?
Love you both - you’re absolutely beautiful!
Cheers, Drink Wine

We were so lucky to have Joe and Chels contact us to photograph their wedding. They must have chose the most popular day for 2013 to be getting married, because we have had a tun of requests since for the same day.
After meeting these two, it’s hard to imagine photographing anyone else’s wedding on August 10th.
Joe and Chels, you are both so spirited and insanely hilarious. We love being around you and can’t wait for more hang out sessions!

Well what can we say about you two awesome ladies. Maybe that together, we all used the word “awesome” one too many times, and the fact that we know it’s true, is simply…aaaaaamazing! (you know we wanted to say it…but we just could’t).
You’re a true example of two people who have found love in their best friend. The way you two joke around and feed off one another’s energy is just…so so cool.
Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your….super duper day. We had a blast and especially loved taking over the dance floor for a good portion of the reception haha. We really did all become friends and can hardly wait for you to come visit us in the Okanagan.
Cheers, drink wine

Hello all of our wonderful fans! We have been anticipating a great year with more weddings than we’ve ever photographed before - and guess what people - it’s happening!!!!
A networking event was held not so long ago for all the wedding vendors in Kelowna and surrounding Okanagan. This event was a fabulous way to meet people in the wedding world and make some great contacts who could later help us try to book some more weddings here in Kelowna. It’s never easy being “the new guy” in town.
It wasn’t till later, after all the schmoozing and food eating (because that’s one of our favourite things to do), that we realized our greatest chance of achieving our goal of photographing so many weddings we don’t know what to do with ourselves, was right under our noses. And no, we aren’t talking about the amazing meatballs they were serving that night.
The event was held at an insanely unique cafe called “The Wedding Cafe“. Now there’s a concept. With the boom in wedding excitement and planning, and with Kelowna being one of the top 3 wedding destinations in Canada, who wouldn’t LOVE to plan their wedding while sipping on a blackberry white mocha and browsing through what this amazing cafe has to offer. It’s a casual environment, one stop shop for all your wedding planning needs - AWESOME!
WE WANT IN ON THAT!
So here we are, one month later with a HUGE thank you to The Wedding Cafe for being the most unique form of advertising that we have seen in the wedding industry, and we are so grateful to now be a part of that.
If you’re in Kelowna, traveling through, or planning your wedding from out of town - you would do yourself a great favour if you checked out the Wedding Cafe. And even if you’re not planning your wedding, the very least you could do is go in for a latte and panini (and look at our photos on the wall of course, haha).
To everyone who has ever supported us and told us that we could make this happen…Thank You, because it wouldn’t have if it weren’t for you.
Cheers, Drink Wine.

Well, there’s one thing we will always say about Alberta, and that’s how much we miss those romantic winter skies. Yes it was cold, but it was all worth it. Vanessa and Kelsey you are absolutely stunning inside and out. Thank you for braving the cold! What a beautiful place to get married.

You’re beautiful, your wedding was beautiful, and the love you have for one another is out of this world insane! This was by far the most emotionally touching wedding we have ever been to. During the first ceremony, we had to consciously tell ourselves “don’t forget to photograph this - keep shooting”, because we were both so wrapped up in the love and emotion that was being shared by everyone. What an experience - thank you to the incredibly talented singers for that!
The whole wedding from beginning to end was just overflowing with love and we want to thank you for making us a big big part of that. We definitely feel honoured to have been chosen to photograph your wedding, and are grateful for it, because in the process we’ve made such amazing…like AMAZING friends with you.
Love you both so much,
Cheers, drink wine ;)

We have been so thankful and blessed to have such amazing clients come into our lives and become out friends. Vanessa and Kelsey are no exception. One coffee meeting together in the Bear Paw Bakery and we just knew this was going to work perfectly.
Normally we spend about two hours on an engagement session, but for some reason when we were done with this one, we all thought “oh my…we totally lost track of time”. Four hours of photographing Vanessa and Kelsey felt like one! We had so much fun and even got to go out on Pyramid Lake in Jasper on a paddle boat while they sat and cuddled in a cute little row boat.
Check out their slideshow below (and we even attached a photo of us towing them back from our boat ride). We nearly fell over when we stepped out of our paddle boat - what a work out!
Cheers

We don’t do a lot of family sessions, but truth be told, we are suckers for little kids. We loved spending time with the Woodfield family. Not only to take their photos, but we each got a little “babysitting” time with the kids as well, which was super fun! We were very lucky to have such beautiful leaves and weather in early November, and got to take photos in their lovely home and backyard.
Thank you John and Tiffany for inviting us into your home to caputre such sweet moments between the two of you and your boys. You’re just lovely!
Cheers,
Amy and Alex

Holy Beautiful! This back yard wedding was such a joy. Bright colors, beautiful people, and amazing decor. We had such a blast taking photos of all the pretty things surrounding this back yard. Thank you to Lori and Savas for hosting this amazing event for Bill and Danielle, and for convincing them that they needed to hire us - haha.
Bill and Danielle, you have such an awesome family. Thank you for sharing your day with us. We wish you nothing but love and happiness.
Cheers,
Amy and Alex

We have too much to say about you ladies, so we are going to save it for your great big photo blog post later on! :) For now, all we will say is that we love you and you are so so stunning. Here are a few photos we took in the old white house at Summerhill Winery. Very vintage!
